Kaveh Mousavand

Mathematics — Representation Theory

I am a Staff Scientist in the unit of Representation Theory and Algebraic Combinatorics at Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST), Okinawa, Japan.

Previously, between July 2023–June 2025, I was a Postdoctoral Scholar in the same unit at OIST. Before that, between July 2020–June 2023, I was a Coleman postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Queen's University, Kingston, Canada. I defended my Ph.D. thesis in June 2020, at Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), under the supervision of Prof. Hugh Thomas.
